Bucket List for 2013

Okay so I started writing down some resolutions for this year...and realized how unlikely that I will complete them if they are set up like that.  Then, I got a message on my last post to check out this blog post. It is about creating a bucket list for the year rather than resolutions. And after seeing my sister do this on her blog (see here), I decided, why not try it.

So here is my Bucket List for the year:

1. Read 100 Books

2. At least half the books I read have to be new (to me) books
3. Read 5 Non[-fiction books
4. Read Scriptures/pray Daily
5. Finish Jim's 4 ties
6. Finish bunny cross-stitch

7. Finish Love cross=-stitch

8. Start and finish white tiger cross-stitch
9. Blog at least 3 times a week

10. Learn to use Gimp

11. Grow hair to waist
12. Travel somewhere new

13. Go to temple at least 3 times a month

14. Go to 2 new temples
15. Due Project Life 365/Photo-a-day
16. Learn a new skill
17. Try my hand at developing film

18. Make a quilt

19. Organize craft stuff

20. Sell a piece of jewelry

21. Move
22. Take 25 Bryson/McGrath names to the temple
23. Write 5 chapters in 2 books
24. Finish sewing class's projects

25. Edit photos for portfolio

26. Build website for portfolio

27. Go to a museum

28. Go to a concert

29. Read Book of Mormon

30. Read Book of Mormon in Another language (maybe? Suggestions for a language?)
31. Start Astronomy Research (starts this summer!!!!)
32. Try a new recipe at least once a month
33. Try hand at a new calling
34. Write Thank you notes (from the wedding last March...is that still okay??_)
35. Clean up Kindle
36. Add 50 books to Goodreads account

37. Make something for Visiting Teaching girls each month
38. Host a game night/get together at least once a month

39. Do a family photoshoot
40. Second a wedding (aka be a second photographer)
41. Build a bookshelf
42. Catalog books (we have a lot….hence build a bookshelf_)
43. Learn to play a new game
44. Make a new painting
45. Build up food storage
46. Make 72 Hour kits
47. Make 10 things I have pinned on Pinterest
48. Do service for husband once a week
49. Try Astrophotography

50. Camp in Yellowstone National Park

51. Index 150 names through new.familysearch.com  

I feel pretty good about a lot of these, though there are some kinda crazy ones....I mean reading the Book of Mormon in another language....when I can't read or speak ANY other language but English?? But there are also some really fun ones, like learning to develop black and white film. :) I am super excited. There isn't a particular order, nor is this likely a complete list. So I will do my best to keep you all updated on how I am doing on these and any new ones that come to mind.
